   Duncan Browne has served on the AFIM Board of Trustees since 1984. His career in the music industry dates back over 30 years. He began as a retailer, operating Beantown Records & Comics in Boston. From there, he became Head Buyer for the Wherehouse Records chain in Gardena, CA and then for Sound Music Sales in Los Angeles. After that, Browne began a ten-year term with Rounder Records Distribution as General Manager of the distribution company. He then moved to the REP Co. (now Ryko Distribution) and later became president of Distribution North America (DNA) before returning to Rounder.
