Chester Browne graduated from DePauw University with an A.B. in Economics and immediately served two years in the army. Browne started with New York Life while in college, returning to work full time in 1956 and retiring in 1982. After this, he joined American United Life as General Agent of what became their largest agency and retired from America United Life in 2002.
Browne is a Life member Million Dollar Round Table, the premier association of financial professionals. He received his Certified Licensed Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1959. Throughout the years, Browne has held many distinguished positions in the community including President of the Indianapolis Jaycees, President of Indianapolis Life Underwriters, President of Indiana Life Underwriters, and President of the Indianapolis Life CLU Chapter. Browne also serves as a Crossroads of America Council Commissioner and Scout Master and as the President of Indiana Bed & Breakfast.
