   Wendy Brown joined Adult & Pediatric Dermatology, p.c. in April 2004 as Practice Administrator.She has thirteen years of executive practice management experience, specifically with medical practice consulting.Prior to APD, she has helped large practices throughout the coun try to improve the management and efficiency of their offices, staff, procedures, and standards.Prior to her consulting projects, Wendy was the Practice Administrator for Childrens Eye Care PC in Farmington, CT. At CEC Wendy was involved with different charity projects.She helped to develop a program called The Thomaston Fund within the practice.This fund helped children and families in need to obtain eyeglasses and no cost.Prior to working at the CEC, she was the marketing coordinator for The Diagnostic Breast Center in New Britain; CT.
   
   Wendy received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Rock Valley College in Rockford, Illinois.She also received her certification as a medical office executive from the Hartford County Medical Association in 1998.
   
   Wendy served as an advisory person for several practices regarding the use of Athena HealthCare software.She is also currently on the advisory committee for Fallon Committee Health Plan.
   
   Ms. Brown is a member of several management societies, including the Medical Group Management Association, the Practice Management Association, and the Association of Dermatology Administrators/Managers.
   
   She was a guest speaker at the American Academy of Ophthalmology in 1998, speaking on the topic Jump out of the Box Administrator.Wendy has been interviewed for articles in The Patient-Centered Dermatology Practice puplications.
