Mrs. Walter J. Brown

Mrs. Brown was a retired Assistant Fiscal Affairs Director, Albany State University.She was a 1961 graduate of Monroe High School and a 1966 graduate of Albany State University where she received her Business Administration degree.She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., the American Diabetes Association and Greater Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Walter J. Brown of Albany; one daughter, Ronette M. Brown of Albany; five sisters, Vercerie Melton of Flint, Mich., Martha Tucker and Mary (Samuel) Jackson, both of Chesapeake, Va., Doris Carr and Evelyn Coster, both of Albany; two brothers, Frank Benyard of Springfield, Mass., and Willie Clarence Benyard of Albany.
