On Friday, Robert Evans, president of the Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the ATOS, presented the designation document to Jack Cook, the Stadium's resident organist, Walter A. Brown Jr. and Christopher Bouley, president of the Stadium Theatre Foundation.

Cook and Brown are responsible for restoring the 1926 organ from disrepair, which nearly had silenced it, to its current concert-giving condition.

Cook, a classically trained musician with a background in theater performance as well as organ maintenance and repair, and Brown continued to work on the organ, bringing improvements to a level where Cook began giving a series of concerts.
