Carole Brown Ph.D., PSMSenior Management Consultant

Carole started her working life as a physical education teacher before graduating in psychology from the University of Newcastle with first class honours and the university medal and before going on to complete her Ph.D.

imageShe worked for the Family Court of Australia for over 20 years and for the last 11 years was responsible for the Court's counselling and mediation services.Under her leadership the Counselling and Mediation Services became highly integrated within the Court and were acknowledged world wide as model services.Consequently her expertise was sought by Singapore, Fiji, and the Netherlands in the establishment of their alternative dispute resolution services.Carole also served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, an international association of courts based in the United States, and held the position of Vice President for a number of years.

imageAs a consultant to the Singapore Subordinate Courts for many years Carole assisted them to set up their Family Court and Juvenile Court.

Over the years Carole has had extensive management experience in strategic planning and the development, implementation and monitoring of work practices, polices and procedures.Her most recent work assisting a legal firm with its best practice accreditation reflects this.
