Allison says she'd always wanted to get engaged at her favorite place, but had never mentioned it.

Allison, spotting an old-fashioned photo booth, asked whether they could get their pictures taken.

"I was trying to talk to them, but they didn't understand," Allison says.

Meanwhile, "I was just la-di-da, having the time of my life," Allison says.

As the fair started closing for the night, he suggested they go back to the photo booth.

The resulting strip of pictures tells the rest of the story.

"The first picture is me smiling, and he's a deer caught in the headlights," she says.

The two wed May 7, 2005, at Highland Park United Methodist Church, where Allison now works as a special-events coordinator.

Allison Brown joined Highland Presbyterian Church as the Interim Director of Youth Ministry in November of 2004.

In May of 2005, Allison became the Director of Youth Ministry at Highland.Prior to this, she lived in Lansdowne, PA and worked in a management consulting firm as a part of the human resources team.

She attended Eastern University in St. Davids, PA where she majored in Theology and minored in Gender Studies.It was at Eastern school that her interests in faith, and God were nurtured.

Her interest in Youth Ministry began as a youth.She was very involved in her youth ministry programs while in high school in Atlanta, GA. During college, Allison volunteered and interned at Wayne Presbyterian Church in Wayne, PA.It was here that she began to feel called to doing Youth Ministry full time.

Allison lives in Lancaster with her husband Jeff, who is currently studying Graphic Design at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, and their new dog Rocket.
