    After graduating with a degree in Zoology from KCL.Allison worked in medical research for a no. Of years, during which time her interest in alternative health and lifestyles grew.

    During this time she also trained as a Shiatsu practitioner.

    After working within the N.H.S. in the Physiotherapy department of the Care of the Elderly Unit at the New End Hospital [then part of the Royal Free Hospital].She decided to follow Osteopathic training.

    After graduating from the British School of Osteopathy in 1990, she developed a strong interest in working with Cranial Osteopathy, and has done extensive post-graduate training in this field.Since qualifying Allison has worked in a number of different practises in London, Hertfordshire Cornwall and New Zealand, alongside developing her own practise in Crouch end.

    She also worked as a volunteer at the Osteopathic Centre for Children when it was in Cavendish square.

    She has a particular interest in working with pregnant women, babies and children with which she has had extensive experience [not least having three children of her own].And has tutored final year Osteopathic Students in Cranial Osteopathy at the B.C.O.M. [then B.C.N.O]

    She also works with people of all ages and has a particular interest in the effects of trauma, both emotional and physical on the tissues and exploring the way in which the tissues may hold a ,memory ,of such events and how this impacts the body,s natural healing process.

    Allison has also completed a diploma in therapeutic healing, and explored a number of Processes working more directly with the bodies subtle energy systems.She is also currently embarking in training in Shamanic practitonership along side continuing her osteopathic development.

    She is a member of the General Osteopathic Counsel [G.O.S.C.]And The Sutherland Society, an association for Osteopaths working in the cranial field]

    After studying for a Zoology degree at Kings College and pursuing that into medical research Alison decided she wanted to explore a more people-centred 'hands on' approach to health.She worked in the Care of the Elderly Physiotherapy Department at the Royal Free Hospital before studying shiatsu massage and finally Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy.

    After qualifying in 1990, she continued her osteopathic training in the cranial field to expand the scope of her practice.

    She has a particular interest in treating woman during pregnancy, babies and children as she feels osteopathy can have a great impact in this area helping the next generation to have a good start in life.

    She has 3 children herself and osteopathy plays an important role in maintaining her own family's well being.
