Allen Brown
Allen holds a Master of Divinity degree from Emmanuel School of Religion and a B.S. degree in Computers and Business from the University of West Florida.
He left the computer profession because his real passion is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.
He loves his family, enjoys camping and hiking in the mountains, and sees God doing great things at Laurel Oak Christian Church.
His latest areas of service include Envision, whose main mission is to plant churches in North Carolina, and as an adjunct professor for Carolina Christian College (formerly Winston-Salem Bible College).
His wife, Kathy, is a middle school educator at Kernersville Middle School where she teaches seventh and eighth grade science and communication skills.
She received a Bachelors degree from UNC-Greensboro and a Masters of School Adminstration from Appalachian State University.
Currently, she is working on her Ph.D. in education with an emphasis in adolescent literacy.
She loves her family, enjoys gardening, computers, and celebrating the good things in life.
Allen and his wife, Kathy, have four children, Kristi (an attorney in Raleigh), Matt (a network manager for High Point University), Michael (a freshman at Pfeiffer University and an avid cyclist), and Lisa (a sophomore at Glenn High School).
