Sheree joined the museum staff in January 2004.She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in History and African and African-American Studies, and her Master's degree from Tufts University in History and Museum Studies.She has had a variety of museum field experiences, having interned at the Museum of Science, Boston, the Bostonian Society, and the Smithsonian Institution, and worked at the Children's Museum, Boston.She believes that museums play an important role in making history more concrete and relatable by supplementing the written word with contemporary objects.Sheree loves the intellectual challenges and opportunities that museum work affords her.
