Steve Brower is a junior at Villa Julie College where he is studying Computer Information Systems and Information Technology Forensics.Steve is in his fifth year of membership to FBLA-PBL and has served in various leadership roles on and off campus.He has served as local chapter president for two years, Maryland PBL President for two years, and has on the Board of Directors for Diverse Concepts, Inc., a defense contractor, for 6 months.
Steve is a very driven individual who strives for success in all that he does.He led the charter efforts of the Villa Julie College chapter of PBL, which has grown to be the largest chapter in the state of Maryland and the third largest chapter in the Eastern Region.
Much of Steve's success can be credited to the training and networking opportunities that FBLA-PBL has made available to him.He states, "In High School, I never really understood what networking meant or how important it was, until I attended my first NLC.After I left Nashville in 2002, my whole perspective was changed.I realized how invaluable it is to create an extensive network of contacts because it encourages relationships that are mutually beneficial and often involve great successes."
Success is no stranger to Steve and he knows that "those who stand to lose the most also stand to gain the most.
