Thomas J. Brewer serves as an arbitrator, mediator and dispute resolution neutral in international and domestic disputes.He has more than twenty-five years of experience as a trial lawyer representing clients in commercial disputes, and more than eighteen years of experience serving as an arbitrator and mediator in commercial, construction, intellectual property and other types of business cases.Since November 2000 he has limited his practice to providing alternative dispute resolution services.
Mr. Brewer has served as an arbitrator and mediator in hundreds of business disputes involving a wide variety of parties and issues.These cases have ranged in size and complexity from eight- and nine-figure intellectual property, telecommunications, energy and international licensing disputes, to smaller disputes involving valuation, partnership and shareholder, breach-of-contract, unfair competition, construction, business purchase and sale, and many other types of issues.
Mr. Brewer received his B.A. from Dartmouth College and his J.D. from the Harvard Law School.He also received a B.A. in jurisprudence from Oxford University, which he attended as a Rhodes Scholar.He is based in Seattle, Washington.
