Harry is the cousin of A. Keith Brewer, the namesake and founder of Richland Center's Library.

Brewer was a man of science; he spent 41 years as a chief scientist for the Navy, and had 25 patents for submarine parts alone.He was born in Richland Center in 1893.
His pictures are on the walls on the third floor.In one he stands on the capital steps with lawmakers, in another he is just a baby.On that same wall is a picture of Sextonville's class of 1898.They suffer from the same condition as the Harry Brewer display case.
Among the other pieces lying mostly forgotten are the Clerk of Courts desk, the Putnam School clock, and a replica of the John Coumbe cabin made by students.
