   CENTUS is privileged to have Rev. Paul A. Bretz, DMin, joining our staff as interim executive director, effective January 1, 2008. Dr. Bretz is assisting CENTUS while he also serves as Vice President of the Samaritan Institute here in Denver. During his time as Interim Executive Director at CENTUS, Rev. Bretz will be guiding the formation of a new Colorado consortium of Samaritan Counseling Centers, The Samaritan Mental Health Network.
   
   Dr. Bretz joined the Samaritan Institute staff in 2007 after serving both congregations and counseling centers in Illinois, Indiana, and Colorado. A graduate of Wheaton College, McCormick Theological Seminary, University of Chicago: School of Social Service Administration, Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and Regis University, he is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Dr. Bretz is a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and member of the NASW Academy of Certified Social Workers. His primary areas of responsibility at the Samaritan Institute include the development of the counseling consortium business model, accreditation, and consultation.
