Access Plus was founded in 1982 by its chairman and chief executive Tim Brettell , who controls 20 % of the shares.Since coming to AIM in late 1996 , it has increased basic earnings per share at an average rate of over 28 % per annum.
The Bristol-based company provides project management services in three product areas – print management , ( 51 % of 2000 sales ) , direct mail ( 27 % ) and special and security products ( 22 % ) ; such as tamper-proof bags , membership cards , cheque books and certificates.
In its last set of full-year results the company reported turnover up 18 % to £25.3m from £21.4m in 1999 , resulting in headline pre-tax profits , after goodwill amortisation , of £4.1m up from £3.4m in 1999.EPS increased to 15.3p from 13.4p in 1999 , whilst total dividends amounted to 8.13p against 6.9p in 1999.
