   It's being called the Smackdown in India: Mickey Brett, the notorious British bruiser who heads up security for Hollywood superstars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is once making headlines after assaulting a British paparazzi photographer outside the couple's hotel in India.

   Mickey Brett was the same bodyguard who introduced 'Fight Club' to the usually quiet and tame world of the Namibian Press Corps, when Jolie and Brad Pitt descended on the country for the birth of their baby, Shiloh.

   Brett, who is Jolie's personal bodyguard as well as a former debt-collector and nighclub owner, enforced this with a heavy hand. He told a Sunday Times reporter he was going to "f***ing smash someone to pieces" if he caught any photographers trying to take pictures of Jolie. In the weeks that followed he and his team of locally hired heavies waged war on reporters and photographers.
   
   This week, Brett once again got frisky with the "paps" staking out the Le Meridien Hotel in Pune, India, where the couple are holed up.

   In video footage of the incident, show on Indian television, Brett can be heard screaming at the hapless paparazzi: "I'm gonna f***in' kill you ... got it".
   
   Brett was not identified in media reports, but is clearly recognisable from video footage and still images taken during the confrontation.
   
   During their stint in Namibia, there were various postings on Internet fan sites, attributed to Mickey Brett although he later denied it.
   
   In the postings, a writer calling himself Mickey Brett ranted and raved with comments like: "If you want to know if i threatened paparazzi then you are damned right i did!"
   
   He further stated: "I have worked for tom cruise for many years and also nicole kidman, richard gere, sandra bullock, cindy crawford just to name a few and they all repeatedly ask me to do work for them up to this day! i have worked for angie for 6 years and now brad pitt and not one client has ever had a problem on how i do my job so i must be doing something right because my phone never stops ringing for work!"

   Which included, but were not limited to, Jolie's bodyguard Mickey Brett beating a man to a pulp for giving him the finger. These are the two great humanitarians. When you employ such people it directly affects your credibility. Especially sonce Brett was arrested in the UK about 7 years ago on suspicion of murder. He was never charged due to lack of evidence.
