Matthew also grew up in Boulder.He graduated from Fairview High School in 1988, the University of Colorado in 1993 and New York Medical College in 1998.After completing the Family Residency Program in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Matthew returned to Colorado.For the past three years, he has served disadvantaged communities as a family physician with the Salud Clinic in Longmont, Colorado.Matthew is married to Amy (Roche) Brett, an elementary school teacher who is currently a full-time mother.
