   Harry P. Brett is a partner based in the firm's New York office. He has extensive trial and appellate experience in both the State and Federal Court Systems. Harry joined Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker in 1978. Previously, he had four years experience as a criminal investigator and has had a dramatic impact on the law in New York State concerning causation with Boltax v. Joy Day Camp, and the issues of duty and foreseeability involving airport security with Bizien v. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. He has litigated high exposure cases in all courts in the New York area and in the Federal Courts throughout the U.S. involving jurisdiction, forum non conveniens, civil rights, false arrest, security, construction an transportation/terminal liability. He also litigated Jacqueline S., the landmark case in New York concerning landlords' liability for criminal acts on their premises.
