   RISMEDIA, Sept. 26, 2007-Adam Brett considers himself a high-tech Realtor® and he has an award to prove it. He was recently announced as a winner of the third annual Hewlett Packard Real Estate Technology contest, which recognizes real estate professionals using technology to provide clients with a better and more personalized experience.
   
   Winners of the contest used HP technology in creative ways to increase sales, save time, be competitive and aid in the overall success of their businesses. A panel of five industry and technology experts judged a record number of more than 600 entries and Brett was one of eight winners.
   
   But Brett knows that technology is only part of what makes a Realtor successful.
   
   "It's all about helping people" says Brett, who was also lauded earlier this year for putting out a local house fire and rescuing two lost dogs.
   
   "Fullerton is a great place to live and work," says Brett, who has lived in Fullerton most of his life. "The city of Fullerton has great neighborhoods, and lots of diversity. The newly revitalized downtown preserves the charm of the older city area and newer developments are well thought out and planned with the future in mind."
   
   Brett knows this first-hand, as he is a sales associate with RE/MAX North Orange County and his office is located in Fullerton. It is also where he is raising his own family - he is the proud father of a new born baby girl.
   
   Prior to his real estate career, Brett was a software and systems engineer at Raytheon designing weapons for the Department of Defense. He was also certified as a Six Sigma Specialist. Skills learned during his Raytheon career, such as writing proposals and negotiating, serve him and his real estate clients well now. According to the company he is also proud to be an OC Sheriff Reserve, a position that allows him to serve and protect.
   
   Brett is also dedicated to serving his clients and protecting their real property interests, even in these uncertain times. Adept at handling all types of transactions he is also a foreclosure expert, and he is especially empathetic in helping his clients deal with the emotional transaction of a distressed property.
   
   Using today's technology combined with yesterday's good old fashioned service, Brett is a sought after local agent who is happy to help - whether it's listing a house for sale, or helping to find a lost pet or put out a house fire! He truly is a local boy - a Fullerton area specialist.
