   Tom Bretsnyder has been connected with the construction industry all his life. He started working as a carpenter in the summers and all workable holidays at the young age of 13 working for his father's construction company in Illinois. He became self-employed as a carpentry and General Contractor for a dozen years around the Chicago Land area before heading to South Florida. While in Florida he owned and operated a company which exclusively installed metal roofing systems. During those 14 years he also discovered the "Summer Northern Florida area" more appropriately known as Boone and the High Country. Finally in 1996 Tom and his wife moved to this area permanently and built their home in the Foscoe community in 1997. During his years here in the mountains he has restricted his construction work to cabinets and smaller projects. Now he has come to work for Abeers Realty as a licensed Broker to help the other people enjoy the mountains.
