   Mr. Bressler is responsible for originating and executing M&A, capital raising and other investment banking transactions for middle market clients. Prior to joining Cleary Gull in March 2004, he spent almost three years with William Blair Mezzanine Capital Partners, a $600 million mezzanine fund focused on investing in middle-market businesses in the manufacturing, distribution and service sectors. Prior to joining William Blair Mezzanine Capital Partners, Mr. Bressler was a principal of William Blair & Company's investment banking division and held investment banking positions with McDonald & Company and First Chicago (now Bank One) Capital Markets. During Mr. Bressler's 19 year career in the investment/investment banking profession, he originated a wide variety of capital raising and M&A assignments and structured and arranged private placements of senior debt, mezzanine financing and equity capital for middle-market companies. Prior to his investment banking career, Mr. Bressler was a member of Arthur Andersen & Company's Small Business Advisory Division. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and a B.B.A. (accounting) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Mr. Bressler is a frequent speaker on financing and other investment banking topics for middle-market companies.
