   Dr. Bresser is a founder of NxPartners. Prior to this, he was a Managing Director with Kilimanjaro Partners, LLC, a boutique investment banking firm, specializing in raising capital for and providing traditional investment banking and M&A services to companies in the $0-$20 MM revenue range. During his tenure at Kilimanjaro, he was also the CEO of Progression Therapeutics, a start-up biotechnology company out of Baylor Medical Center, and spearheaded the financing for 2 other companies, an MBO, and the sale of one company and the division of another. Prior to this Dr. Bresser was a consultant for APQC, an internationally recognized management consulting, firm that specializes in management and knowledge management consulting services. He joined APQC after turning around and then selling the international ASP service division of Vocalis, Ltd., a UK-based company that offered voice and speech recognition hardware and software. Before this, he was the Chief Operating Officer for InterviewNow.com, where he directed all day-to-day operations including development and launch of Web-based e-cruiting software application; management, evolution, and enhancement of all web/software development projects; and led negotiations for the sale of the company. Before joining InterviewNow, he was SVP of Operations and COO - OTC Products for PharmaPrint, Inc. where he spearheaded and oversaw product development, worldwide manufacturing, and coordination with American Home Products (Wyeth) for launch of new line of consumer products and private label products. Some of Dr. Bresser,s international experience includes setting-up and directing operations in the USA, Germany, Italy, and Israel to create a product supply chain and logistics support , from scratch , to deliver annualized wholesale sales of over $22.8 MM, wholesales sales of >$90 MM, and retail sales of >$150 MM. Prior to this, he was founder and owner of Intellihance, Inc., a private consulting company which delivered b2b customized information over the Internet and used the Internet to build leads for traditional M&A, due diligence, and management consulting. Before that he founded a biotechnology company, Aprogenex, Inc., and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer, during which time he led the company from start-up through its initial public offering (IPO) and through explosive growth from Dr. Bresser had previously served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Vice President of Research and Development with Aprogenex. Prior to this, Dr. Bresser had founded and sold two companies, a contract research organization and a retail business, and helped establish a contract medical testing business. He holds B.S. degrees in chemistry, mathematics, and secondary education, a Master of Science, and a Ph.D. Dr. Bresser has also completed the Executive Management Program (EMBA) at Rice University. In summary, Dr. Bresser has successfully started, financed, and managed companies, raised over $40 million in private capital, and led a company through their initial public offering (IPO). His experience in management, operations, business development, start-ups, turnarounds, and finance spans diverse industries ranging from consumer products, to high tech (software, Internet, and e-commerce), to biotechnology, medical products, and engineering.
