   Jon Bresman - "Big Shot Writer/Producer"
   
   Jonathan Bresman has worked for Lucasfilm on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Radioland Murders, and Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. During principal photography of Episode I, he served as a member of the Star Wars documentary crew as www.starwars.com's production correspondent. During post-production, Bresman returned to Lucasfilm's Skywalker Ranch to write the book, The Art of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. A former student of Spike Lee and Jamaica Kincaid, Bresman has also studied animation writing at AFI's Television Writers Workshop. While an undergraduate at Harvard, Bresman interned for The Late Show with David Letterman, Marvel Comics, Valiant Comics, and for MAD magazine, for whom he has worked as a freelance writer. Prior to Big Red Cape, he served as Creative Director of content design firm Kerplink/Vis-a-vis, where he co-created and co-developed several cartoon properties - two of which won first prize in two separate categories at the 2001 World Animation Celebration.

   1. Kent Parker is a pen name for senior editor Jonathan Bresman, so I'll need to adjust my MAD lists accordingly.
   ...
   Jonathan Bresman, who pulled the entire project together, made sure there was a great mix of Star Wars parodies. There are the movies of course, but there are also fun Star Wars-based posters, fold-ins, ads, etc. It's a wonderful addition to the Star Wars craze, especially the 30th Anniversary. And I must add that Jonathan himself played a minor role in a Star Wars movie. One day I walked into the conference room at MAD to find Jonathan intently watching a DVD. Was it Star Wars? Well, sort of. It turns out that Jonathan had a stint working at Lucasfilm. He told me that one day while working there he was ordered to run around in a primitive Jar Jar Binks costume while being chased by a pick-up truck.
   ...
   Jonathan didn't explain however, why he continues to wear that Jar Jar Binks costume to the office! Unless of course, it may have been a casual Friday.
