   John Breslin is a Principal Consultant with the Lacima Group and has more than 8 years of experience in IT and the energy sector. In Australia John has worked as a senior analyst and trader for both electricity retailers and generators. He was also a Senior Consultant for Katestone Analytic where he designed key components and models for forecasting, trading and risk management systems used by participants in the Australian electricity market. In the UK John has worked as a Software Development Manager where he designed data management and CRM solutions for a number of clients. In this role he was also responsible for the migration of IT systems from VB to the .NET framework. Prior to joining the Lacima Group John was a spot trader at Hydro Tasmania where he played a key role in the development of their trading applications. John hold a B.Sc.(Honours) and Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Queensland.

   Dr John Breslin has joined Lacima Group as a Principal Consultant. With more than 8 years industry experience in IT and the energy sector, he will support Lacima's ability to offer clients sophisticated solutions balanced with commercial reality.
   
   In Australia John has worked as a senior analyst and trader for both electricity retailers and generators.
