Marietta, GA, The Marietta Board of Education recently approved two administrative promotions, moving Rona Roberts from assistant principal at Hickory Hills Elementary School to administrative assistant for curriculum and operations, and advancing long-time Hickory Hills teacher Dollie Breshears to replace Roberts as assistant principal.

Breshears is a 23-year MCS veteran and Hickory Hills' 2004 Teacher of the Year.Prior to joining the Marietta system she also spent two years each in the Cobb County and Douglas County systems.She earned her bachelor's degree in elementary/middle and special education from Georgia State University, master's in education at Piedmont College in Demorest, Ga. and education specialist's degree in administration from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tenn.
