Lesley A. Bresette has been appointed an instructor of English for freshman and seniors. A graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, Lesley was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Middle/Secondary Education with a concentration in English/Language Arts this past May. Lesley was President of the Class of 2004 at the University of Maine at Farmington and recipient of the President's Academic Scholarship all four years. She achieved Dean's List status the spring of 2002, spring of 2003 and fall of 2003. During her student teaching experience at Winthrop High School, Lesley taught classic literature to sophomores and seniors, as well as a formal speech class that emphasized manuscript writing. At Maranacook Middle School in Readfield, Lesley developed and taught a poetry class that focused on literary devices. For two years during college, Lesley was the Resident Assistant in Dakin Hall at UMF. During follege she also was an on-call bank teller at the United Kingfield Bank and, since graduation, Lesley has worked as an accounts specialist at MBNA America Bank.
