BULAHDELAH Central School principal Bob Brenton has just returned from the annual Central Schools Conference in Dubbo with an array of new ideas he believes will be of great benefit to students and staff.
Mr Brenton said the conference was a once a year opportunity for principals, teachers and community members representing unique central schools to meet to share experiences and to learn from each other.
"Central schools span the full spectrum of education from early childhood to the Higher School Certificate, so there was a wide variety of success stories to share at the conference," he said.

Mr Brenton was accompanied at the conference by Bulahdelah Central School staff members Peter and Jenny Mooney and Emma Stewart who took the opportunity to catch up with some of the latest developments in quality teaching.

"The conference was a really good chance to learn from one another's experiences, and interestingly most of the workshop sessions were led by teachers who have enjoyed success in central schools," Mr Brenton said.
