   Andrew Brenton, Director. Mr. Brenton joined the Scotia group in 1984, and over the past seventeen years has held a number of positions, firstly in Scotia Capital Investment Banking, and later in Mergers and Acquisitions. Mr. Brenton was appointed Managing Director in 1991 and in 1997 he launched Scotia's merchant banking arm, Scotia Merchant Capital. Mr. Brenton holds an MBA from University of Western Ontario and a BSc. from Mount Allison University. Mr. Brenton is a director on several boards.
