Thomas Brenner received his degree in physics from the Institute of Experimental Physics, University of Tuebingen, Germany in 1983.In 1984, he joined the Alcatel Research Centre, Stuttgart, where he now works as a manager in the department of technologies.He has been involved in semiconductor technology characterization, including measurement and modeling techniques in silicon bipolar and CMOS technologies.He introduced silicon germanium technology into Alcatel.Currently, he is project leader for very high speed circuit realization and is involved in several European research projects.
