   The board selected Peter Brenner of Salisbury Mills to serve as the interim superintendent of the Pine Plains Central School District when Superintendent Richard Mahar leaves the post on June 30.

   Brenner, of Salisbury Mills, has served as a superintendent for 18 years in districts of 650 to 5,000 students. In 2000, he retired from the Washingtonville Central School District and has served in various interim positions with the Highland, Wappingers and Rondout school districts
