   Volunteer Spotlight ... Dawn Brenner, FOPC Member since childhood!
   
   "God gives us all gifts. I think using those gifts in His glory is all part of His plan. That's why I volunteer my time at FOPC."
   
   Dawn grew up in FOPC and through several moves in her adult life, she's now back at FOPC with her husband Matt and two children, Garrett and Audrey. Dawn facilitates a parenting class at FOPC, "Love and Logic" which is a philosophy devoted to helping parents raise responsible kids through a set of techniques designed to put parents back in control of their homes in a kind and loving way. Dawn likes a challenge and, as most parents will attest, parenting is one of the greatest challenges we face! It's great to have a class like Dawn's to give parents some perspective on working with their children and with each other. For the past four years, Dawn has been bringing music to FOPC kids as a music teacher for the preschool and kindergarten Sunday School classes and through piano accompaniment for various FOPC Children's Choirs. She has also taught Sunday School, assisted with FOPC Music Camp, attended the Morning Out for Mothers (MOM's) group, and most recently, was nominated to serve on the Co-Pastor Selection Committee. Dawn has found that by volunteering at FOPC you get to know a wider variety of people at church. It's makes our large church seem much smaller. Look for Dawn's next "Love and Logic" Parenting class this Spring in the bulletin or at www.fopc.org.
   
   Dawn is a great example of one of our many wonderful volunteers @ FOPC.
