Prior to his work for Sears, Mr. Brennan was Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago Law Department where he gained extensive trial experience defending the City on a broad array of matters covering commercial, constitutional, employment, civil rights, tax, tort and other disputes.Most notably, in a trial featured in the National Law Journal, he obtained a jury verdict in favor of the defendant City of Chicago after plaintiff declined a $7,000,000 (publicly disclosed) settlement offer.
