Peggy A. Brennan is a realist painter specializing in the genres of still life and landscape. She works directly from life, in oil, on canvas or panel. Her paintings are the result of the careful use of color and form and often evoke a sense of quiet emotion and mood. Peggy strives to convey a sense of timelessness in her subject matter, and is drawn to the simplicity of classic design, atmospheric lighting, and the beauty of ordinary objects.
Peggy has studied oil painting with David A. Leffel of the Art Students League of New York as well as with other prominent artists.
