   Started by stating she was a former NAPS member. As former supervisor of mails and supervisor of delivery and collections she recognized the most difficult and important job of supervisors today. Megan spoke on the general state of the NE Area. She recognized the SENE District on a number of accomplishments such as service to our customers. Just recently SENE was recognized with the customer service Five Star Award with 101 of our offices recognized. SENE was just one of eleven nationally being recognized with this honor. She recognized our performance in city delivery, as we are 3rd in the country for performance efficiency. Megan stressed that there can be no compromise on service and that we need to provide consistent service. We have been struggling with overnight service, the Area is at 94.83. Megan requested our assistance in driving service. Megan spoke about the 24 hour clock. These metrics are readily understood.

   Megan spoke regarding Expense Management. There is a problem within the NE Area - a growing gap between revenue and expenses. The challenge is to manage our expenses and find new revenue streams. Megan recognized the SENE District for the over $16,000 raised for Domestic Violence.

   In the NEA Navigator, Megan stated that every employee has value. What do you mean by that? Do we move so fast that we never slow down to make sure everyone is on the same page? What steps are being made to improve the workplace environment? Part of Megan's responsibility is trying to ensure we have various forums to ensure that communication. We have to explain the business reasons for the decisions we make. Megan will bring this issue back to Don.
