Schneider leaves Shreveport for Honolulu; Brennan named Canadian Hospital administrator
Shriners Hospitals for Children has named two administrators in the past month to oversee operations at the Shriners Hospitals in Honolulu and Montreal.They are Thomas R. Schneider, who has left his Shreveport Hospital administrator's post for the same position at the Honolulu Hospital, and newcomer Maureen Brennan, who has joined the Canadian Hospital in Montreal as administrator.

Brennan, who has extensive experience in pediatric, acute and long-term care environments over a 25-year career in healthcare, previously served as executive director of the Griffith-McConnell Residence, a 300-bed residential and long-term care facility in Montreal.
Before joining Griffith-McConnell, she was assistant director general and then acting director general of a community teaching hospital in the Montreal area.Prior to that she was assistant director of professional services at Hopital Sainte-Justine, the largest children's hospital in the Province of Quebec.
Brennan earned her bachelor's degree in sociology from McGill University in Montreal and her master's degree in health administration from Universite de Montreal.
She is a member of the Canadian College of Health Care Executives.
