   Karen has been with Classroom, Inc. since its incorporation as a not-for-profit in 1992. As the director of production she is responsible for the design and production of the Classroom, Inc. simulations and print materials. Trained in conducting formative research with teachers and students, she has been instrumental in incorporating this practice into the development process. Previously she directed the professional development program and managed site implementation. Prior to joining Classroom, Inc., Karen was a freelance researcher at the Children's Television Workshop in New York City and managed the Community Outreach department at Thirteen/WNET. She holds an Ed. M. in Technology in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Psychology from Wellesley College.
