Justin Brennan, Van Nguyen and Bill Sherwood all play for the Marple Gladiators of the Professional Inline Hockey Association.

Brennan has been the starting goaltender for the last two seasons for the Dragons, and he owns a 25-14 record as the netminder of the first team.

No matter what the team does in the tournament, the club will thrive for years to come because of a strong core of student support from within the organization.

Drexel University doesnâ??t have that problem; in Justin Brennan they have the leader that every team searches for in net.For the last eight years of his playing career, Brennan has suited up in the pads for many different teams.Before playing for his current ECRHA team, Drexel University, you could find Justin in net for the Coyotes, a club team based out of the Sportsplex in Feasterville, PA. Bensalem High School also had the privilege of Justin in net for one season.

That season Justin was playing goalie for the D team, but over the course of the year he worked himself onto the Division I team.The next season, he found himself starting for Drexel, now Division II, and he excelled.In 46 games, he has amassed a record of 29-16-1.His personal statistics are nothing to laugh at either, recording 1,099 saves, a goals against average of 3.76, and a save percentage of .863. This season, Brennan looks to improve those numbers.When asked, Justin proclaimed his goals for this season, â??my personal goals for the rest of the season are to bring my save percentage above 91%, grow to about 6'2", make the all-star game, and win a national championship.â? While some of those goals arenâ??t achievable for the 5'10" goaltender, the majority is legit.There is no reason Justin shouldnâ??t be named to the all-star game, leading his Dragons to an 8-3-0 record in the first half of the season.

With a great sense of humor, Justin is referred to by his teammates as â??Headâ?, but also represents himself with buzz light year as his profile picture.When Justin leaves Drexel, he will have a degree in Chemical Engineering and a bunch of lasting memories.As a fellow President, I understand the difficulties that club officerâ??s face during the school year, and when asked Brennan replied, â??the hardest part is creating a separation between the role of player and board member, as I have to be very aware of where each role ends and begins.â? If that isnâ??t enough, his favorite activities include sleeping, watching cartoons, hanging out, playing video games and coaching.Justinâ??s favorite hockey memory is winning his first league title as a kid.Justin explains, â??it was the first time I had won a league and I did it while being horrible at goaltending.â? Having played with and against Justin, his modesty is one of his best qualities.Maybe this season Justin and the Dragons of Drexel University can capture their first ECRHA Regional Championship and take it to the next level and win the NCRHA National Championship.
