    SCRANTON , A 3-year-old West Scranton girl's death was ruled a homicide on Saturday, Lackawanna County Coroner Joseph Brennan said.

    Police are looking into the death of Kavannah Salvador, of 654 N. Hyde Park Ave., who was taken to a hospital by her father on Thursday night.She was pronounced dead that evening at Community Medical Center, in Scranton.

    Brennan said the exact cause of death is pending further studies.
