Joe Brennan, Jr. says that the latest ruling in regards to online gambling should be celebrated, not seen as a defeat.Brennan, founder of IMEGA.org, says the 3rd Circuit Court's decision to get rid of the Child Online Protection Act could not have been better for the online gambling industry.
While many thought that COPA was necessary to protect children over the internet, some said that it was too broad in its scope and that it violated the First Amendment.Brennan, running an organization that is dedicated to the right of privacy and freedoms over the internet, says that this opens doors for online gambling that they could not have gone through before.
The law was written in 1998 and was viewed by some as unconstitutional.

Brennan says that there is probably only one thing that the conservatives hate more than online gambling and that is porn - so they should go ahead and celebrate their win.
