James received his Masters of Social Work degree from Widener University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Slippery Rock University.James draws on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy as a main framework for treatment, but draws on other theories where appropriate to meet the needs of each individual client.James has experience working with diverse populations in both in-patient and out-patient settings.James values both client-centered and strengths-based approaches as he views each treatment approach to be as unique as the client.
