   Dr. Brennan Dr. Brennan is a native of Providence, Rhode Island. An honor student at LaSalle Academy and graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He graduated cum laude and was the recipient of the Z. Bernard Lloyd Memorial Award for Excellence in Orthodontics. After a year long internship at the Great Lakes Naval Hospital, he served with the Navy for two tours in Vietnam. Dr. Brennan then established La Clinica Dental San Martin de Porras in Chimbote, Peru to serve the poor. He then returned to Georgetown for his certificate in orthodontics, graduating in 1972. Dr. Brennan works to improve the profession through its organizations. He is a past president of the Greater Woonsocket District Dental Society and recipient of its leadership award. He has been a delegate to the Rhode Island Dental Association for twenty-seven years. He is a past president of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, which provides services and education to the orthodontists of New England, New York, Quebec and the Maritime Provinces. He was a delegate to the American Association of Orthodontics for five years. Continuing education is important to Dr. Brennan. He has lectured locally and at the Yankee Dental Conference. He also logs in over 20 hours of continuing education credits each year and belongs to several study clubs. He is a member of the Angle Society, the most prestigious study club in orthodontics. He is also a member of Alpha Sigma Nu honorary fraternity, The Pierre Fouchard Academy, and the International Society of Dentists.
