   Liz Brennan, a partner in the Stamford office of Robinson & Cole, practices primarily in the areas of commercial real estate and construction. She is cochair of the firm's Construction Law Practice Group.

   Liz Brennan, a partner in the Stamford office of Robinson & Cole, practices primarily in the areas of commercial real estate and construction. She is cochair of the firm's Construction Law Practice Group.
   
   Liz has extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of public and private construction and design contracts in the United States and abroad. She primarily represents owners and has worked on projects ranging from office buildings and manufacturing facilities to courthouses, schools, and baseball stadiums. Ms. Brennan negotiated the contracts for the largest pharmaceutical office, research, and development facility in the Eastern United States. She has also prepared and negotiated form design and construction contracts for use in a number of jurisdictions for corporate owners seeking uniformity in their construction projects. She also advises a number of Connecticut municipalities on design and construction issues.
   
   In addition to her construction practice, Liz has almost twenty years of experience practicing in the area of commercial real estate development and conveyancing. She has handled all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, from complex title issues to the negotiation of governmental incentive packages. She regularly represents Fortune 500 companies and real estate developers in acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. Liz also represents tenants in complex commercial lease negotiations for office, manufacturing, industrial, biotech, and retail space throughout the United States and in 27 countries abroad.
   
   In 2006, Liz was named as one of Connecticut's "Super Lawyers" in real estate by Connecticut Magazine. Ms. Brennan is admitted to the bar in Connecticut and New York and to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Liz currently serves as cochair of the Sponsorship Committee for New York Commercial Real Estate Women.
   
   Liz received her B.A. in American Studies from Trinity College and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association and a committee member of the ABA's Construction Forum and the CBA's Real Property Section and Construction Law Section.
