   Mr. Brennan has provided counsel to physicians and other health care providers for fifteen years. As General and Legislative Counsel for the Massachusetts Society of Anesthesiologists, the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Massachusetts Radiological Society, he has been at the forefront in assisting those organizations in addressing the many challenges facing physicians in the constantly changing world of health care.
   
   Mr. Brennan also represents a large number of physician practices. He has extensive experience in advising physicians regarding the structure of health care delivery systems, including practice formation, regulatory compliance, and physician group mergers. He also represents physicians in negotiations with hospitals, provider networks, and managed care organizations.
   
   Recently, Mr. Brennan advised an academic medical foundation throughout negotiations to establish a multispecialty group practice consisting of all academic departments at a major teaching hospital in the Boston area.
   
   In addition, Mr. Brennan is a registered lobbyist and, in this capacity, represents several clients before the Massachusetts Legislature and state regulatory agencies.
   
   Professional Background Prior to entering private law practice, Mr. Brennan worked as Counsel to the Massachusetts Legislature's Joint Committee on Insurance, as Counsel and Administrative Assistant to the Senate Majority Leader, and as Executive Director of the Special Commission on Medical Malpractice.
   
   Professional/Civic Activities Mr. Brennan is a member of the Health Law Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association and a member of the Boston Bar Association
