Ed Brennan, President of award-winning Erin/Edwards Communications, became a winner once again as Advertising Agency Executive of the Year in the Long Island Business News' first annual awards event. Brennan was chosen from among numerous prominent agency leaders throughout Long Island to win the award in the Small Agency category. Brennan was also nominated in the Lifetime Achievement category.
Ed has led Erin/Edwards Communications to a leadership position in the Long Island Ad Agency arena, as the only agency that can boast an unbroken twenty-year winning streak in the region's most prestigious award competition, the BOLIs, which started with their first BOLI in 198l. Ed's contributions extend well beyond those of his own agency and his clients, however. He has contributed significantly to the advertising community of Long Island, not only as President of the Advertising Agency Council, but as the founding chairman of the GraphConnect Coalition, and former director of the Long Island Advertising Club. Ed was also recognized for his contributions to his community. He has been a volunteer firefighter and EMT with the East Meadow Fire Department for over twenty years. He has also devoted countless time to local initiatives like the Nassau County Firefighter's Burn Center, as well as North Shore Kiwanis and the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Foundation. Erin/Edwards also supports a long list of causes, contributing time and pro bono work to The Nassau County Chapter of the American Red Cross, The Mercy Center, Long Island Cares, Long Island Harvest, the Interfaith Nutrition Network, and others.
"I have been blessed both professionally and personally over the years", says Brennan, "with clients who support and encourage us and with a talented group of people who make it work.
