In her capacity as Region I Training Coordinator, Abby Brennan is the first point of contact for clients, assisting them with general business start-up information and assessment tools, schedules appointments for the business counselors, maintains client files and databases, tracks training attendance, designs marketing materials, and maintains communication with other regional offices and various strategic partners of the Idaho SBDC. She serves as the communication hub between clients, business owners, faculty, business consultants and the North Idaho College Administration. Abby conducts the Starting a Business in Idaho Workshops (at the Work Force Training Center) designed to educate Idaho Entrepreneurs in a variety of business start-up issues and requirements.
Abby recieved her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Lewis-Clark State College. In addition to her strong supervisory, marketing, sales and customer service skills, she specializes in Community Resorcing and Public Relations. She is very active within the community connecting people with businesses and non-profit organizations in effort to build a strong, productive and healthy community.
Abby is the newest member of the Post Falls Team, she coordinates and oversees the training program by setting up training classes, registering participants and facilitating the training classes at the North Idaho College Work Force Training Center. In an effort to respond to North Idaho's tremendous growth she is driven to increase the variety of training workshops that Region I SBDC provides to the community. Abby is always reaching out to local business professional who are enthusiastic to help and guide other Entrepreneurs in the journey to succeed, enlisting them as trainers and mentors. Her vision is to connect every Entrepreneur in her region to the resources that the Small Business Devolvement Center provides for it's ever changing and growing community.
