Nathan Brenna joined Anthony Ostlund & Baer in the fall of 1997.He is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of Minnesota, the United States District Court, District of Minnesota, District of Colorado, and Central District of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Mr. Brenna represents companies and individuals in all aspects of business litigation.This includes commercial contract disputes, disputes involving fraud and other business torts, partnership and shareholder disputes, securities litigation and arbitration, as well as labor and employment matters.

Mr. Brenna has had trial experience in state and federal courts as well as argued dispositive and non-dispositive motions before those courts.In arbitration, Mr. Brenna has tried arbitration cases involving securities, business and labor disputes.

In 2000 and 2001, Mr. Brenna was recognized as a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine.Mr. Brenna is also an associate editor of The Developing Labor Law.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Brenna studied at the University of Minnesota Law School, earning cum laude honors when he graduated with a J.D. degree in 1997.At the Law School, Mr. Brenna was a member of, and later, a student director for, the Maynard Pirsig Moot Court.Before law school, Mr. Brenna studied aviation at the University of North Dakota, receiving his B.S. degree, summa cum laude in 1993.
