Anna Breneman, minister of education at First Baptist, is one of the members coming to Encinitas with their families for the project. She said the Georgia congregation is strongly behind the missions partnership.
"We have 47 individuals who are personal prayer partners for mission members, and 31 others praying for our entire trip," she said. "We also have others making financial contributions to our team members and raising funds for Bibles and other materials to be given away in the Encinitas community."
Praying for hunger, harvest Breneman said she believes God will do extraordinary things for both congregations so that He will be magnified.
"We are also praying for a spiritual hunger in the Encinitas community so, together, we can have a plentiful harvest for Him in July," Breneman said. -
