   "Pillar was looking for components to make their storage system very efficient," observed Bob Brencic, senior director of switch marketing at Emulex, in an interview with 5 Minute Briefing.

"The way Pillar has implemented our technology is it allows their storage system, the Axiom storage system, to scale to higher capacity levels. We connect what is called their Slammer in with their Bricks which connects their disk drives, so by doing that we enable the scalability of their storage system."
