Disgraced deputy headteacher Stephen Brenchley has been jailed for five years and three months for sex offences against two of his former pupils.
The former Costessey High School deputy was sentenced at Norwich Crown Court yesterday after admitting five offences against two under-age girls, taking place more than 20 years apart.
However, Brenchley, 48, may be out of prison in little more than two years, having already served 159 days of his sentence.
Today, police said they believed Brenchley may have abused more young girls and urged any of his victims to come forward.
During yesterday's hearing new details emerged of the lengths to which Brenchley would go to cover up his abuse. These included making his victims, whose identities are protected, hide under blankets in his car or in the boot as he drove them to remote locations for sex.

While Brenchley was working at Costessey High School, he struck up a three-year affair with another pupil, which started when she was 14.The court heard how the girl had made him feel "lovesick" and the relationship had only ended when she finished it.
The most recent abuse came to light when Brenchley confided in a friend, who contacted the police. However, upon investigation he pleaded with his victim not to talk to the police, leading to a perverting the course of justice charge, which was later discontinued.
His first victim came forward earlier this year after reading about the case in the newspapers.
Katharine Moore, prosecuting, said Brenchley was "a dangerous and corrupting influence on young females".
