   Rachel Brenchley, the creative principal, lead designer and founder of BasicGrey, has always had a passion for great design and found scrapbook paper design to be a creative outlet to showcase her artistic talent and true entrepreneurial spirit.
   
   After a successful career in advertising, art direction, and graphic design Rachel moved on to pursue a career as a stay-at-home mom; a truly satisfying job that continues to occupy her heart and mind. Spending time with her adorable kids, Sophie and Dawson, is a top priority for Rachel. However, needing a creative outlet for her raw, artistic talent Rachel designed and developed the first of the original cutting-edge paper lines that is now known as BasicGrey.
